John Winston Lennon is born at 6:30 pm at the Oxford Street Maternity Home in Liverpool, England, to Alfred "Freddie" Lennon, a merchant seaman (b: 14 December 1912) and Julia (Stanley) Lennon (b: 19 March 1914).
